PT100 RTD Sensor with Thermowell & Head

The PT100 resistance temperature detector (RTD) is the preferred sensor wherever accuracy, stability and repeatability matter. Its platinum element has a resistance of 100 ohms at 0 °C that changes predictably with temperature, as defined by IEC 60751. Hamoon supplies PT100 assemblies with thin-film or wire-wound elements in 2-, 3- or 4-wire configurations, complete with thermowell and connection head for direct installation on pipes and vessels.

Thermowells machined from bar stock or fabricated from tube protect the sensor from pressure, flow and corrosive media and allow the insert to be replaced without shutting down the process. Spring-loaded inserts ensure good thermal contact with the thermowell tip, and an optional head-mounted transmitter converts the signal to 4–20 mA HART for transmission to the control system.
