Dry Powder & CO2 Fire Extinguishers
Portable and wheeled ABC dry powder and carbon dioxide (CO2) fire extinguishers for fast first response to fires in...
Explosion-proof UV/IR and multi-spectrum IR flame detectors for fast, reliable flame detection in hazardous areas of oil, gas and petrochemical plants, with high false-alarm immunity.
Our engineers help you choose the right model, range and certification.
In facilities handling hydrocarbons, a fire can develop within seconds. Optical flame detectors identify the characteristic ultraviolet and infrared radiation emitted by flames and respond much faster than smoke or heat detectors, making them essential for open process areas and large spaces. UV/IR detectors combine an ultraviolet sensor with an infrared sensor and alarm only when both confirm a flame, while multi-spectrum IR (IR3) detectors analyse several infrared wavelengths to detect hydrocarbon fires at long distances, with high immunity to sunlight, welding arcs and hot objects.
Hamoon supplies flame detectors from leading safety manufacturers in flameproof (Ex d) stainless steel or aluminium housings, with ATEX and IECEx approvals and SIL-rated versions. Outputs include 4–20 mA, alarm and fault relays, and HART or Modbus communication, allowing easy integration with fire and gas (F&G) systems. Automatic optical self-tests verify lens cleanliness and detector health.
